Meet The Director

Originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming, Ms. Amy Munsell received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of Wyoming. While living in Laramie she had the opportunity to perform with many artists and travel playing her saxophone in national solo and regional quartet competitions. Munsell became the first music education major and first saxophonist to win the University of Wyoming Dorothy Jacoby Concerto Competition.  

While teaching in Natrona County School District Ms. Amy taught K-6 general music, beginning band, assisted the Kelly Walsh High School Marching Band, as well as, directing the Western Wind Marching Band.  She has also had the opportunity to work with more than 50 students across Wyoming over the past 6 years in private lessons; enhancing their skills to achieve college scholarships and state awards.

As a Licensed Kindermusik Educator, professional musician, assistant director, composer, and entrepreneur,  Ms. Amy is grateful to have the opportunity to do what she loves for a living! Ms. Amy instills the value of healthy aesthetic living in Casper and brings a life-long love of learning to all of her students.  At Ms. Amy’s Kindermusik classes families are invited to enjoy a fun, positive, and encouraging environment for parents and children to bond together!
